Effective October 30, 2026.
DeckSpark isn’t open yet. This notice covers what this site does today: the example decks, the app on the home page and the waitlist.
The app on the home page
The app on the home page is an example. It runs in your browser, and what you type into it isn’t sent to us. If you press Generate my deck after typing your own description, the waitlist form opens with that description filled in. It is sent to us only if you join the waitlist.
When you join the waitlist
We keep your email, the plan you chose, when you plan to raise, and the description of your company if you left one. For accelerators we keep the program name instead of when you plan to raise. We don’t keep your name, your IP address or details of your browser with your entry.
We use your email to tell you when your batch opens. We use your company description only to make your first deck when it does. If DeckSpark hasn’t opened within 12 months of the day you joined, we delete your entry.
What our host sees
Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and browser details to deliver each page and to block attacks, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. To stop people flooding the waitlist, we keep a one-way code made from your connection’s address for up to an hour, and then it’s deleted.
The check that you’re a person
When you use the waitlist form, the page loads Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from scripts. To make that check, Cloudflare processes your IP address and details of your browser. Cloudflare does this for us, and also uses those details to improve Turnstile. Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum explains this.
Counting visits
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, details of your browser and the pages you visit. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t send Google your email or anything you type. To stop Google Analytics, block its cookies in your browser or install Google’s opt-out add-on.
Who we share with
We never sell your information or use it for advertising. We share it only with Cloudflare, which hosts the site, stores the waitlist and runs the check that you’re a person, and with Google, which counts visits.
Do Not Track
We treat every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Google Analytics doesn’t respond to it, so use the steps under Counting visits instead.
Children
This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If a child has joined the waitlist, write to hello@deckspark.com and we’ll delete the entry.
Deleting your entry
Email hello@deckspark.com from the address you joined with and ask us to delete your entry. We delete it within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Before DeckSpark opens, we’ll publish a new notice that covers accounts, notes and decks. We won’t use an entry you already left in a new way without asking you first.
