Terms
Effective October 30, 2026.
What DeckSpark is
DeckSpark is a tool for writing and designing investor pitch decks. It isn’t open yet. This site has example decks, an example of the app and a waitlist.
Agreeing to these terms
By joining the waitlist, or by using this site in any other way, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free. You must be 18 or over to join, and you may join only with your own email address. Choosing a plan tells us which plan you would use. It isn’t a purchase, and nothing is charged. DeckSpark opens in batches. We don’t promise when your batch will open, and plans, features and prices may change before then.
The example decks
Kerfline, Lanes and Liftday are made-up companies, and the people, figures and photographs in their decks are examples. They aren’t real businesses, and they aren’t raising money.
Payment
Before any plan is charged, we’ll publish full terms of service, show the price before you pay and ask before we charge you. You’ll be able to get a full refund within 14 days of paying.
What you send us
You own the description of your company that you leave on the waitlist. You give DeckSpark permission to store it and to use it to make your first deck when your batch opens.
How you may use the site
Don’t join the waitlist with someone else’s email address, send anything unlawful, or try to break or overload the site.
No promises
WE PROVIDE THE SITE “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. We don’t promise that the site will always work or be free of mistakes, or that DeckSpark will open.
Limits on our liability
We aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any claim about the site is limited to the greater of $50 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits apply only as far as the law of the state where you live allows, and they don’t cover our own fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any injury to a person. If you live in New Jersey, these limits and the “No promises” section apply only as far as New Jersey law allows, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Illinois, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Changes apply from that date and don’t reach back to anything you did before it.
